BRINKMANN-KTM

hello friends,
I am not sure if it is right to post these theme here in KTM,
the familiy brinkmann is very famous, heinz brinkmann is worldchampion in 50cc class, he built his own bikes at the end of the 70ties, because hercules and ktm no more wants to built 50cc bikes, so he built his own bikes: BRINKMANN - KTM !!!

these are very very rar bikes, because in 1977-1979, heinz built small series of 10 bikes a year, and his brother bernhard won many races with these bikes.

KTM GS 50 / 1977 - 1977 baute Heinz eine Kleinserie 50er KTM mit Sachsmotor. Es entstanden 10 Fahrzeuge. Bernhard setzte eines davon in der DM ein:




KTM GS 50 / 1978 - Die 50er KTM von 1978 hatte bereits einen wassergekühlten Sachs-Motor. Das Fahrzeug wurde von Bernhard und Peter Neumann in DM und EM eingesetzt:


1979 SiX Days Parc Fermez - Brinkmann KTM GS50:


KTM GS 50 / 1980 - Mit diesem Motorrad wurde Bernhard 1980 Deutscher Meister!


this year, the original Brinkmann KTM from the SixDays 1979 was restored very original and started to a new race after 30 years:








I love these little bikes so much, I also have the honor to know the family brinkmann personally, so I will show you these pictures in very big honor!

Often I saw german drivers riding over a WV beetle..was it a kind of national joke, due to the particolar silhouette of that (beutiful) car?

I do not know if you realize, that heinz brinkmann did only built 11 of these beautiful bikes for one season. I think, even if you find one of these 11 bikes, you will have to pay 12000 - 18000 euros, even in good condition...it will be more than only rare!
